By putting together a 17-1 record in HCAC regular-season play, the Pioneers (23-2 overall) finished in first place for the first time in four seasons, clinching the No. 1 seed along with hosting rights in the conference tournament.
Having received a first-round bye along with No. 2 seed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (19-6, 16-2 HCAC), the Pioneers will face the No. 5 seed Defiance College Yellow Jackets (10-16, 8-10 HCAC) in Friday's first semifinal game at 6:00 p.m., followed by Rose-Hulman taking on No. 3 seed Hanover College (19-7, 14-4 HCAC) at 8:00 p.m. Defiance won over No. 4 seed Mount St. Joseph University (14-12, 9-9 HCAC) on Tuesday while Hanover held serve at home versus No. 6 seed Bluffton (9-17, 7-11 HCAC).

Transylvania is aiming for its first conference tournament championship since 2014, when the Pioneers defeated Hanover, 110-70 in the championship game.
Both Friday semifinal games and Saturday's championship game will be broadcast live on the Transy Sports Network.
